Vinod is a visionary, a serial entrepreneur and an information technology leader with over 30 years of multifaceted experience leading software engineering, sales, marketing, and operations. He is a collaborative, highly customer-focused professional with profound commitment to excellence and innovation. His leadership combines these qualities with strong organizational skills, management, and business acumen.

Vinod fosters a horizontal leadership approach, creating a workplace built on letting people be themselves. Everyone has an intrinsic identity that wants to be respected, included, heard, and recognized. A leader is only as good as their people. He is driven by the principle of “people don’t buy product, people buy people”. Vinod understands that taking care of your employees leads them to taking care of your customers. Technology is a soulless creation by humans; therefore, human-touch should be at the core of high-tech as its ‘life force’.

Outside of work, Vinod has a deep interest in “Human Agony”. Despite the most convenient and resourceful generation in human history, in general, we are in agony. We are trained in schools and colleges to make a living and succeed, but are not trained on understanding and maneuvering nuances of life. As a result, we are comfortably miserable− rising crime, rising mental illness, people with void, broken relationships, disconnect from friends, family and community, no faith in God—no joy in life. To address these, he created “Rhythm in Life” under the URJA foundation that inculcates and sheds light on how life unfolds. He envisions introducing this subject in schools as part of the curriculum. In the absence of this, our education system graduates robots to operate smart devices. They are trained to make money to acquire external objects for happiness, but grossly miss the essence of life itself.

Vinod holds a master’s degree in business. He began his career in software engineering and brings a wealth of enterprise technology expertise from his prior experiences at Oracle (ORCL), Juniper (JNPR), and KPMG.

Michael Casamassa is a seasoned healthcare executive with over two decades of experience leading sales and strategy for a Fortune 500 medical supply company, Henry Schein Inc.  Michael was the driving force behind Henry Schein expanding its offering to include integrated products, services, and solutions that improved clinical outcomes, workflow efficiency, and profitability for all healthcare practices regardless of ownership structure.  At the end of his tenure with Henry Schein, Michael led a robust Health Information Technology (HIT) company specializing in Practice Management, Electronic Health Records, and ancillary patient journey solutions.

In January 2025, Michael became President of PracticeSuite, where he leads mission critical growth initiatives overseeing all aspects of the business including strategy, sales, marketing, operations, and the recruitment of personnel that complement PracticeSuite’s unique culture.  Michael is charged with taking the current best-of-class HIT platform and generating greater value to healthcare practices by focusing on financial outcomes and the patient experience which accounts for over 70% of online reviews. 

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biological Sciences and Microbiology from North Carolina State University, a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Secondary Education & Teaching from Old Dominion University and was the lead curricula designer and instructor for the Navy and Marine Corps Intelligence Training Center.

Michael, along with his wife Natasha, daughter Isabella, and two Aussie Doodles, Cash and June reside in Austin, Texas.

Amy Elkins is a twenty-year veteran in the EHR and Practice Management industry. After serving as an implementation consultant, Ms. Elkins started her own consulting firm. She scaled her team and focused on large scale EHR and PM implementations and customer support for eleven years before being acquired by Allscripts. Upon leaving Allscripts, Ms. Elkins assisted the Hillrom division at Baxter to increase their customer success, retention, and NPS scores. When not working, you can find on the baseball field cheering on her son. Ms. Elkins’ charity of choice is The Alzheimer’s Association and she volunteers at an adult group for persons with disabilities.

Deepesh Damodaran is an accomplished and results focused technology leader with 16+ years of broad-based IT experience specializing in driving complex mission critical application software development for large-scale healthcare application and business to business (B2B) integrations.

As a head of Technology, Deepesh is responsible for technology strategy, innovation and Project Management, architecture and directs all technical activities including project management, B2B integration and other strategic growth initiatives. He also interacts with a broad array of IT infrastructure service providers to plan, design, and implement organizational IT strategies and manages mission-critical IT infrastructure. His transformational expertise in technology, Integration Services enable PracticeSuite to leverage advancements in these fields to build the next cutting-edge iteration of the PracticeSuite Healthcare platform.

His Excellent knowledge in healthcare regulatory standards like HIPAA, Health care transactions standards such as ANSI EDI, HL7 along with the cloud technology knowledge made him to a seasoned professional.

Deepesh holds a Master’s in Computer Application and Post Graduate Certificate in Project Management.

Dennis Fredrickson has a record of integral roles in finance and management with world-class organizations. In addition, he has transformed numerous small and medium-sized organizations by driving business growth and improving their operations, leading them to increased sales, higher net income and proactive management of opportunities and risks. His extensive experience as a Finance professional includes financial planning & analysis, strategic planning, forecasting, profitability initiatives, cash flow management, process re-engineering and more. His well-rounded business perspective and experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments provides a unique combination of expertise and vision.

Dennis graduated from the University of Kansas with a BS degree in Accounting and Business Administration and has an MBA degree in Finance and Accounting. Dennis is also a CPA. He is married and has twin daughters. Dennis is a mentor in the University of Tampa’s Leadership Coaching Program for graduate students.

Traci joins PracticeSuite with 20+ years of experience working in healthcare software implementations. Most recently, She worked as Sr Director of Implementation at NextGen Heathcare focused on project management, while working closely with the learning services, hosting and conversions teams to deliver on time and on budget implementation. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her dog, reading or having game nights with family and friends.

Arun, with over fifteen years of experience at PracticeSuite, has closely engaged with customers and possesses unparalleled product knowledge. His excellent understanding of customer needs positions him to play a key role in shaping the future product roadmap. Having worked in various capacities within the company, Arun’s expertise will contribute to building customer-focused solutions that address real-world problems and deliver a compelling user experience. Prior to joining PracticeSuite, Arun served as a Technical Lead for Microsoft’s customer service process. He holds an MBA in Marketing and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics, and he is also Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified.

Shinoj is a dynamic & result-oriented professional with an exceptional knowledge in Technical Project Management, Application Development, Web Technologies using SaaS model, Production Support & Enhancement.

Having 15+ years of experience working in the US healthcare information technology industry, leads the day today technical activities at PracticeSuite including project management, B2B integration, product releases and enhancements. Has been instrumental in formulating the Product Roadmaps, developing RCM solutions and various Integration initiatives.

Shinoj holds a Bachelor’s in Mathematics and Master’s in Computer Application.
